What to expect on a Health Retreat?

Detox and Cleanse Retreats transform your lives for the better. Improving your health and wellbeing inside and out. Nurturing your personal growth and Self care. Our retreats are centred around improving your health and wellbeing through relaxation, connection and education.

Prior to your Retreat.

  1. Initial Consultation to look at your current health and fitness, which includes developing a tailored programme to address your symptoms and health goals

  2. Establish your goals and look at what YOU want to gain from the Retreat.

  3. A food diary and questionnaire is given to you for completion in advance of the session

During your Retreat

Nutrition - You will be served delicious nutritious meals, balanced and portion controlled throughout your stay. This will also include Detoxifying fresh juices, herbal teas and power snacks to ensure you do do not go hungry. We want you to love your food and feel fulfilled.

Delicious Nutritionally balanced meals

Exercise/Activity - Daily Pilates, Yoga, Core strength and flexibility. Do not fear, all exercise is tailored to YOU individually so you will do as little or as much as you are comfortable with. Our exercise sessions are fun and delivered in a beautiful setting.

Exercise adapted to each individual.

Meditation/Relaxation - Daily stress relieving practices including breath work to help you deal with anxiety and stress. We focus on concentration, bringing yourself back to the moment over and over again. Meditation can also reduce the areas of chronic pain, depression, heart disease and high blood pressure.

Afternoons are free to relax around the pool or you may just want some time out. We offer additional activities.

Relax, take time for yourself. Think about how you are feeling, read a book, put your phone away for 2 hours 3pm - Cleansing Juice and energy ball.

4-4.45pm Dynamic Pilates and stretching

4.45-5.30pm - Action Plan Your health journey Nourish your Body and Mind - Dinner - We will make an easy to prepare super healthy and tasty dinner together and eat together too.

5.45pm - Calming herbal tea. Face Mask and Meditation to Calm the Mind

To continue your journey, you will receive daily motivational texts, tips and support for a week.

The things that are causing all the fuss are chemicals called nitrites and nitrates, which once in the body can be converted into cancer-causing compounds. These, according to a spokesman for Cancer Research UK, occur naturally in red meat, but are also often added during meat-processing as a preservative.

All red meat also contains a red pigment called haems, which, once in the gut, can be broken down to form N-nitroso compounds, or NOCs, many of which are known to cause cancer. Additionally, haems may irritate or damage the cells lining the bowel, which can lead to them dividing more rapidly – exactly the kind of action that is more likely to increase the risk of developing cancer.
