Eating too much SUGAR can make you gain weight and cause tooth decay.

"free sugars".

• Sugars added to food/drinks. Biscuits, chocolate, flavoured yoghurts, cereals, fizzy drinks.

• Natural Sugars in honey, syrups (such as maple, agave and golden), nectars, unsweetened fruit juices, vegetable juices and smoothies.

Sugar found naturally in milk, fruit and vegetables DOES NOT count as free sugars.

We do not need to cut down on these sugars, but remember that they are included in the "total sugar" figure found on food labels.

It has been shown that you need to give an infant a savoury food about thirteen times before they like the flavour and just once for them to like a sweet food! 👼🏻

The drug addiction of sugar is actually more powerful than cocaine and the food manufacturers know this and that’s why most of our processed foods are loaded with sugar.

According to the 2007 Bordeaux University research study, refined sugar is far more addictive than cocaine one of the most addictive and harmful substances currently known.
